2014 March Coop Challenge

Thanks, it's not removable I use a cat litter scoop and sift out the poop from the sweet pdz.

Ah, that makes sense. I think I'm forming an idea of how to incorporate this idea with some other ideas I've seen and make really good use of the space we have. :) Thanks everyone! Sure am enjoying seeing everyone's coops and stuff. Soooo inspiring!

Gotten a good start this month, and have more progress, but no pictures yet. Will be painting this weekend, so more pictures to come. This one will be 8*8 interior with a four foot front porch for sortin' eggs and shuckin' corn. The interior will be divided in half; one side for storage, the other for the girls. The farmer is in pic one!

More progress this past week. Have the roof on, the windows and nest boxes as well. Got primer on over the weekend, but the rains came, so no pics of that yet. Painting this week, green, with ivory trim and shutters will be brown to match roof.

Slow but steady will get us there-SLW chicks are three weeks old as of 3-22, so have a few weeks left. The run will be an arbor with muscadines covering the top. I hope I get some of them before the chickens get them all...
