If you want to enter birds at Stockton, the deadline is that entries must be postmarked Monday, Jan 6. They don't seem to have gotten a website up, so you will have to email to get a packet.

I always forget about this show until it is right around the corner! We've unfortunately missed the recent ones, but I hope we can go this year.

In the past we even had a BYC table setup for some meetups and to hand out some goodies. Hopefully we can do that again this year.

Anybody interested in getting together for a BYC meetup or even lunch or something? @fowlman01 @Happy Chooks ???

This is my first time at this show, I will be bringing several of my bantams. I would LOVE to get to meet some of my fellow BYC addicts!

I have never been to a poultry show before. I'm seeing dates of January 25th and the 26th. I can not make it on Saturday the 25th. Is it still a big show on Sunday? Or mostly closed up? Just coming to look, learn, and meet people but need to drive a couple of hours so not if most everyone is gone.

I'd like to know too. I'm contemplating whether it's worth it to get a hotel and stay the night. I will be attending Saturday for sure, but what's going on on Sunday?

Exhibitors are permitted to leave at 10 am Sunday and must be out by 11:30 am, so I would not drive down for Sunday.

Staying the night is potentially more useful: there is judging of champions, and if you are shopping for birds, sometimes it is possible to arrange to purchase an exhibited bird and pick it up Sunday. But you can pretty much expect that everyone will be packing up Sunday morning.

For anyone thinking of attending, I highly recommend going to the website and getting the packet. There is a schedule there as well as directions.
