2015 breeding season

Saw the first breeding of the season today and it was Sidney, so now i know it is a myth that white boys don't get the girls LOL
I came to that conclusion too Zaz. I think my white definitely got to breed last year. I have been having fun watching him display this year. Peep and Alto display kind of relaxed and shake for the peahens but they seem to move slowly and not exert a lot of energy. When Frosty displays he tilts his train down getting as close to the peahen as he can and rattles his train. He is very energetic when he displays.

The other day I was standing in front of Frosty displaying and he made the mating call to me (there wasn't a peahen nearby), so it looks like now Peep has him thinking I am a peahen.

He lets me get so close to him when he displays he didn't even want me watching him display last year so I am glad he now lets me touch his train feathers and stand right in front of him.

Nice foal!

Is anybody looking to add a nice spalding silver pied peacock to their breeder stock? Last weekend I saw this peacock and got a quick picture of him. He will be three in July, and is potentially split to purple. Contact me if you are interested, as the price is fairly low.
