Well that's... Interesting.

I hope I get my email today saying my eggs are on the way. I am so impatient haha. They'd just be sitting at my house if they come tomorrow since schools are closed weekends.

IF I MAKE IT!

I cant find the post when you ordered?

it came!!!

I have serama from HarmonyAnns frizzle babes, or I have pullet eggs from the crested barred rock out the buttocks lol, I also have pullet ccl laying but the full size ccl are in molt right now :( I am close in eastern PA remember ;)

you have to remember these if they post that pic for a contest!

cant wait for the update!

30 cartons!  I thought you only had like 9 hens or something?    yes 1-10 days.......  to store longer put SMALL END UP in a carton in a plastic bag in a cool place, NOT in the wash room, like a cold cellar or of like. do not turn during this long storage.  this is ONLY for long turn storage, up to 2-3 weeks only! and even though this raises hatch rates, they are still lower than 1-10 day eggs!

storage in cool place 1-10 day old eggs is STILL IMPORTANT!!   @tracyjg

WHAT!!!! you must have been half asleep!!!  I cheered for them!!!!

oh my what cute images too!!!!!

awwwwwww  pics pics pics   give them time????

great candle pic!

duck eggs are so cool to candle!!!!!!  and when they get bigger you can see their bill and there webbed feet too!!!!!!  cause they are so big and if they are really white eggs, crystal clear candling too!!!!  amazing candles my fav candle eggs!!!!

What did you order from them?

I havent ordered for years, I will give them another chance should the kids want a new layer breed in the spring now that they have new suppliers and I read all goes well!

I wonder if this damp rid

stuff is odor free and would help those in really damp areas, not sure what sizes they come in or whats inside them either. Anyone ever use this stuff in closets or anything?

I moved the five "clear" Brabanters to the aquarium incubator. Maybe I was too sleepy to see development (I hope you're right ;) ), and I'm still hopeful, but they were obviously behind the other 4. The homemade bator is holding temp and humidity perfectly now. I spent a grand total of about $35 on it. If it starts these guys developing I'm going to build more of them because they'll be magical.
I have chicks growing up that I've listed for sale because I wanted more diversity in the flock genetics. If I don't get many chicks out of this hatch I'll just keep them and wait until Spring. Our electric rates jump in January and February so I won't be brooding or incubating in those months. As is I'll probably have a giant electric bill in December from the last of the brooding and from having to warm up the barn a little when I process the extra cockerels. In March I'll set a large batch of my barnyards and some F1 Olive Eggers. I'm excited about that step in this process.

They got new egg suppliers, and I heard the last one wasn't good. :)
