Ok, I told Sally I was culling this egg tonight, but I still keep waffeling about it! I just don't want to kill a little one. It's day 14. These are all pictures of the same egg. It is the only one that wasn't 100% clear. What do you guys think? Photo quality is poor. Sorry

I am no expert, but I don't see any veins. Hold out until s wiser mind replys but I think cull them.

so with dry incubation you keep the eggs at a steady 35% what about at lock down? i am very curious about this meythod....i am working with a little giant, fan no turner.

what is the salt test?

My bator is also an LG. No fan but has a turner, then a homemade one w a fan and no turner lol. I posted a video link of the salt test. By "dry" for me I've added no water the last few hatches. When I first got my LG I was filling up the channels like the directions said. Sally told me about dry incubating and its sooooooooooooooo much easier to keep the humidity at a decent level now. I don't know if 35 is right for dry..........but its the best I can do for where I am. Someone else can probably tell you the correct % on it

I'm a pushover. I have 2 in my bator I can't tell if they're good or not..........usually at least can see something but there's dark in the egg so am waiting lol

Very porous shell, avoid setting those in the future if possible. I don't see anything going on in there that I'd like to see, I think it may have recently passed (after day 7).
