2015 Pacific Poultry Breeders Association Show NOW MODESTO

Thank you Walt, for all your time and patience answering questions here, and also for your work in putting together the show. We enjoyed the new venue, and my daughter was thrilled over the moon to get on Jr. Champion Row with her Silver Laced Wyandotte.

Wow, congrats to her! Beautiful bird! I think I saw you cooping out. I was on the other side.

I'm sorry we didn't get to meet in person! We're not even that far apart geographically In Real Life, and we've chatted back and forth at BYC often enough.

It's funny because I really intended to try and meet people and be social, but I never seemed to encounter anyone who wasn't actively busy at some task or having a conversation with someone else. I'll have to do better next time.

I was hanging out with Kim in that area, as those are her Delawares behind your bird. Sorry to have missed meeting you!

(I didn't even think of trying to get pictures of people, I was busy taking pictures of poultry, taking care of my birds and my son)

Ha! I should have totally guessed they would be her Delawares. I too was preoccupied with pictures and letting my daughter take the lead of what to look at next.

I would have liked to have met you in person. Are you going to Red Bluff? Where do you live?
@capayvalleychick , in case you didn't see these pictures Mary took of your birds:
Thank you! I appreciate that. I have the hardest time taking pictures of chickens.

We had a fun time at the show, and met some great people. Wanted to thank @Chrissyr for the lovely eggs- they are in the incubator right now.

We get you some eggs ASAP.

Here's the video I took before the peacock and peahen flew to the rafters.

My husband was standing right next to the seller who had the peacocks, and as they flew off, (trying to be funny) he turned to the seller and said, "...I was looking at your peacocks, how much are they now...?" The seller replied, "Free... if you can catch 'em." LOL

I bought a couple calico? bantam cochin pullets at the show and am now thinking I should have gotten a trio. Any chance one of you know the contact info for the lady who was selling them?

I'm thinking those are not Cochins. I'm thinking those are Belgian D'uccle Millie Fleur. Cute! Not sure who the breeder was though, sorry.
