They wrap us around their little toe at a very young age! They think they own us! lol
So she will be fine and just keep hand feeding her?

O.k. Thank you! How did you get your white peafowl so tame! Thats what I try to do with all my birds! I love it when they are tame!

Hand feeding can get them really tame or just being around them and playing with them.
With my white peacock I bought him when he was a yearling and got him tame enough within three months to win Grand Champion in Showmanship and Grand Champion in Quality. It takes a while with older birds. My Spalding peahen I had when she was a peachick making it very easy. My Black Shoulder peahen I bought when she 3 months old which it was still easy with her. With my White peacock Ice it took a little bit at first but then it was a relaxing ride after that. For a week I worked on getting him used to be caught. You have to get a hold of them in the right area on them so they can't fly away or get away. After that I get them used to just perching on my arm and sitting on my arm which takes a while. Then I use a tether on their leg which they learn how it works quickly and then I train them on patients. The better they behave the faster they get to run around in the pen again. I'm going to make a video soon with my adult Indian Blue peafowl on my training lessons since my Indian Blue peafowl are only tame enough to eat out of my hand and not touch them. I might also do a video on how showmanship works starring Ice my White peacock that one Grand Champion in Showmanship.
Have you candled it?Hi,I have 4 peafowl eggs in the bator and one has a hair line crack.I noticed it yesterday around 6:00 p.m and the crack is a little bigger but no external pip.Should I make it a air hole or give it time? It is on day 28. Thank you!
Weigh her daily! If she's not making daily gains you should be concerned. Can you post some poop pictures? My baby pea is 17 days! She is 95grams however she has just started not eating on her own. She was doing great and now won't eat unless it's out of my hand. She is the only chick that survived and we play with her a lot but I'm scared she isn't getting enough since she won't do it on her own. She drinks on her own and is getting bigger. Any advice would be great!![]()
