Never heard of a Columbian Orpington before, he's beautiful! Columbian is my favorite plumage type. Does he have a buff tint on his back?

Thank you! I really like his looks, too. Neither had I till I got him from a breeder. I did some reading and found out people are producing many different coloring and markings out of Orpingtons. It is not a recognized coloring for the breed, that's for sure. He does have some buff in him. I have seen buff columbian Orpingtons before, but he is not it. He was shipped to me as a pullet. Oh, well, I had to learn to love this big, mellow guy.

RALPHIE, .there is no way that chicken can fit through that door. Love the chick reading BYC but, " where did his other leg go?" I don't need this kind of anxiety before I head for bed. Just seeing your name gives me tremors. Hope your Zombie friend stayed home.
