2016 Peepers - What are you waiting on?

The Buff Laced Polish are my daughter's favorite. We had 2 of them, but are down to 1 now.

I hope she's my daughter's favorite, too! She'll be two by the time the chickens get here, so I'm hoping having lovey-doveys like them will make her more gentle.

They definitely find the chickens interesting at that age. Mine is 6.5 and is "training" some of the older chicks we hatched here to "fly", "walk on the roost", "sleep on the roost", etc. She's so pleased that her favorite cockerel "Sir Guy Jr." is now roosting with the big chickens at night.

Aww!! I just want my little one to be gentle with them, she's still learning not to hit the dogs :/

The bantams from Ideal arrived a day early! Everyone is alive and chirping up a storm. My husband picked them up from the post office and said there was another box of chicks. Unfortunately they were all dead when he peeked inside. I feel really bad for whoever is getting that package today.
