So the air cell on my pekin duck egg looks nasty an yellow is this normal there is no sound or movement from the little guy

Sadly enough it dropped below zero last night and my hen abandoned the nest

. Anyone able to point me in the direction of a good incubator.... these eggs are done for.... but I hope the next batch make it

This is the incubator I am using and I love it, of course it is my first time incubating so I do not have much to compare to, but it has stayed stable, and out of 26 eggs, 25 have developed, we will see how many actually hatch....

I had 2 eggs pip today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got any ideas as to why they are 2 days early?

They are filling the kitchen with the sweetest peeps! I hope they actually hatch soon!

temps could have been a tad high

I thought about that, I am pretty sure the temps averaged around 99.6 for most of the incubation period........

temps could have been a tad high

we are on day 29 if you count the day we actually set the egg its been yellow like that for 2 days

do you see draw down?
what is your humidity at?
