2018 BYC Calendar - Your Pictures Needed!

Looked through my pictures. This is a close as I had to same. It's the exact same spot in the house and only taken a week or two apart. This is before I figured out how to fully use the new camera. One was taken with the cell, one with the dslr camera. Now can you tell which was which?

I have the galaxy note tab. I switched from the note phone once we got rid of cell phones (they don't work here anyway lol). I absolutley loved the camera in it. This thing has been dropped more times than I can count though over the past 3 years so the camera no longer works but it was fantastic when it did. I would've chosen it any day over my digital.

Phones have very nice digital cameras now. No point in a regular digital camera if you have one.

A digital camera with a retractable lens can do better. Mom's Powershot is noticeably better than my phone.

The dslr cameras (ones with changable lenses) are even better than that because mechanical zooming and focus turns out better than digital. Better ones even have both. I can zoom in as far as I can with a telephoto lens and then use the digital zoom.

Macro lens and the honeybees are a favorite target of mine since honeybees let you get right up there as close as the camera will allow.

Cell phone is much better for always having with you and being water and drop resistant. Need to show something on a bird? Whip out the phone and click. Also good for when something hilarious happens. Also much handier for posting online.

Ummm... I beg to differ... it all depends on the quality of the camera in the phone... just check specs...

I took it back a few posts after.

No. Busy working on a project of unshowable silkies mostly because I can. Had a size mutation crop up and just noticed last year because the first male with it hatched. He's 4.5 pounds.
