Omg Aggie is SO pale next to Emily and Angus!

I posted another thread asking if people thought I should let her out of the crate.
She’s just so frustrated being in there and her wound has scabbed over.
The people that answered said to let her out right before bedtime as a trial to see how it goes.
So I let her out about 45 minutes ago.
At first she wouldn’t come out like she thought she couldn’t.
Emily was close by.
She walked out a ways on the deck.
She looked around and flapped her wings like saying “Ahhhh”!
They both stayed up there for a few minutes and after I rounded up the babies to go in the prefab I saw them eating grass happily together

She got up on the roost all by herself and seems quite happy.
I’m going to try to intercept her and get her off the roost each morning just to check her injury and spray it if needed.
I think her color will return with some exercise, foraging and being with her buddy.
Thank you, everyone, for your kind thoughts and prayers for her!!

I’m so blessed to have a community of people who understands the love and concern someone can have for these beautiful creatures we call chickens.
