View attachment 1523770 Hi!
This is my first time raising ducks. I have 3 duckling that are about 2 weeks old. (Pekins I’m pretty sure)
But I just got these 3 adorable little guys yesterday and was wondering what they might be? Maybe Muscovy?
Black Swedish maybe?
Or a Black Swedish mixed with Pekin perhaps?
The photos I’ve seen of BS ducklings don’t have nearly as much yellow as yours.
Maybe you could post a thread in the Duck forum and people more familiar with ducks could help?

Help! One of my chicks took about a two foot fall and is now gimping and laying a lot. She doesn't get upset when I touch her leg or body though. What should I do?
If you don’t feel any obvious broken bones and no serious swelling I wouldn’t worry too much.
She may just be bruised and sore.
She may get better after a week or so.
I had a cockerel that started limping from something he did to himself and after about a week to 10 days he was fine.

Thanks. I separated her in the brooder and gave her, her own food and water. I was reading that people give poly vi sol to injured chickens. Would you recommend? If so is that the kind you find in the kid section?

I’d get her/he out of that plastic container. It could slip on the container creating an even bigger problem then you currently have. Plus the plastic container could overheat the chick
Ok. Any recommendations on how/where to keep her? The other chicks kinda pick on her when she is left with them. Also the plastic container has pine and a temp gauge in it for now.

If they are relentlessly picking on her I’d Divide the brooder somehow. You can post your situation in the emergencies/injuries thread area and the experts on here will help you out. I’m pretty new to chicken keeping myself.
