Raven is female. She and Maggie are Black Sex Links.
All my standard chicks are female.
My bantam chicks include 3 males and 4 females.
I have some photos of the bantams and the names I chose for them.
So you’ve met Little Jack. The little black bantam Cochin cockerel behind him is Rerun.
I named him Rerun because I had another black bantam Cochin before named Frodo.
So here’s Rerun with my mottled Cochin pullet, Patches.
I thought Rerun was going to be a mottled too but he’s turned out to be black.
Here we have Jack, Patches, Ziggy, Hazel and Cozy.
Ziggy is my buff Cochin cockerel. Hazel is one of my two red Cochin pullets.
And Cozy is my buff pullet.
The other Red bantam Cochin pullet is Sophie. I can barely tell her and Hazel apart.

Got some new pics of chickens and dogs and rabbits and ducks. I absolutely love all animals. If I could win the lotto, I would have a sanctuary for everything--cows, pigs, horses, etc. I love nothing more then spending my time with all of them. Some may say it's a lot of work and it is, but at the end of the day I feel good--its so rewarding.

Batman-this pup came from Lebanon, he gets into everything
Batman and Brennan(Brennan is focused on chickens). Batman is 6 and Brennan will be 6
Brennan reluctantly looking at me and not the chickens. He also has had durgery on both hips. He dislocated his one hip at about 15 months-scared the heck out of me. His rehab went really smooth
APOLLO --found him in the side of the road as a tiny pup(10 weeks) he is not to be messed with--high guarding instinct and has literally attacked almost every dog in the house--high management needed but we figured it out. Absolutely adores me and his ball. He will be 5
Tannor--the ideal perfect dog. He will be 9 this year. Loves loves his monkey toy that sounds like a monkey and finding toads. He will alert me to raccoons too.
Midnite will be 7 and still acts like a pup. I got him at the shelter. He was on sale for $99-no joke. One of the best things I have ever done. He is on top of keeping all animals out of the yard. Never without a ball--he squeezes it to get that energy out.
Misty will be 15. Got her at the same shelter as Midnite 14 years ago. She came with staples from a surgery which last year we found that injury caused major arthritis and hip dysplasia.
Robyn will be 8. She is a good girl. Got her at 12 weeks off craigslist on her way to shelter. She has had surgery on both hips, rehab was hard for her

My two rabbits that are completely happy in the run and making no attempts to leave. They love hanging out with the chickens. Oddly all research shows they aren't suppose to hang out together. No babies as of yet--so most likely two boys or two girls. I would think babies would have been here already if boy and girl
Up top chickens, down below rabbit eating the wet foid. They really like the chicken feed and wait for it

I told you guys how the people across the road lost their last hen to am oppossum and they have killed two oppossum and a raccoon. Well after the hen was killed Willie(the stray rooster that made me decide to get chickens) was very hard to get in the coop and he went missing last week. No signs of him anywhere. He did this to me, disappeared and ended up with them. So I'm hoping he went down the road where they have some girls. I hope he is safe but that is probably not the reality of it. No trace, not even a feather would be a coyote or fox I would think. We also have a huge hawk that has been circling for a couple weeks now. I know he is around because the crows get loud. I really liked that rooster a lot.
So now the threat of predators has grown and I'm really scared and anxious.i can't think of anything else to do to predator proof this area, unless I go concrete all the way around. I can't add anymore electric fencing, there is already like 7 strands all the way around.

Beautiful! Such lovely colours and markings - as always great name choices - Rerun is a very clever idea given it's meaning imo.

Wow what gorgeous pets you have! So glad you decided to post these pics, I've really enjoyed looking through them and reading the history of your dogs - poor darlings having such awful ailments - glad they are with you getting the best life ever though.
Your rabbits are so cute - amazing how they and the chickens get on so well.
Still loving Duke,s comb it's awesome.
