Edit:
This is a few days ago when it was 60 and sunny.
I added some scrap 2x4s around their run to climb on!

I contacted My Pet Chicken for my third time today. Despite the outrageous shipping charges they have, I Love this company. If I were to ever order chicks again I’d go through them in a heartbeat. They promptly gave me a refund for Bonsai(Hei Hei) my crossbeak just two days after receiving her.

Today Wally (gosh he’s so handsome) my cockerel turned ten weeks old, so I did as instructed and gave them a ring. I was on the phone for less than five minutes and was given a full refund for him. They didn’t ask for pictures or any crowing proof (thank gosh because he hasn’t made a peep).
That means I now have two $25 birds that I paid $0 for, in addition I now have six girls that can be bred with Wally to create purebred BBS Ameracauna chicks. Thank gosh I can have Roosters where I live, & thanks to this happy accident I’ll hopefully have a profitable income from them one day.

Sounds like things turned out quite well for you.
I hope your Wally is a fine rooster when he grows up.

Well, I got my email today that my chickies are shipping! I am so excited and nervous at the same time! WOO HOO!
my babies shipped today. got some from the same hatchery last week. So frustrating Express shipping takes 48 hrs? last time they arrived 20 hours late but the estimated arrival was a day earlier. We also ended up with 2 live chicks from an order of 6 :( I am hoping these will arrive earlier despite estimated arrival a day later. What the heck!!!!

praying, praying for faster delivery this time.

Here's to hoping for speedy delivery.

I posted in another forum about the proper way to give a new chick liquid through a dropper. I read that a chick could aspirate if given wrong. Do you put a drop at the front or the side of its beak?
