Took some pictures of Big Red today. He's not a fan of human handling so we leave him alone for the most part but we noticed his pretty tail feathers coming in!

Blurry picture but you can see the pretty green coming in.

Haha! Would you recommend the coop?
I think it's a good design as long as you have roofing material that you can overhang a bit without extra supports. I was totally new to building anything so I wanted plans that came with good instructions. These fit that description, but after making the coop I realize there are a lot simpler ways to accomplish the same result.

Plus there are a few typos (1 measurement read 6ft instead of 8ft, there are supplies on the supply list that aren't used...etc.)

Lilo is certainly enjoying the 60° heat wave in Wisconsin!
Lilo has a love hate relationship with me right now. She has never liked being handled and always shied away from my hand even with food. Recently she has decided she is a treat fiend and wants whatever I have. So she will be the first to run up and see what treats I'm giving out, the whole time making this really irritated sound like a door creaking. Like she wants treats, but wants me to know she really still doesn't like me. To me it seems somewhere between apprehension and growling. XD
They are 10 weeks old now. I made them a bucket feeder because I wanted something that would hold a lot of food and keep it out of the weather/off the ground.
When I am in the run they all peck at my pants and try to scratch in them like they're looking for treats. It was cute when they were small but now it is getting pinchy DX

@ChooksNQuilts most likely sour crop or and impacted crop. I don’t know much else other than what it could be. I’m so sorry one of your babies isn’t doing too good. :hugs
Thank you all for your kind words.
I’ve started taking their food away at night. Her crop hasn’t changed. :(
She’s not growing as fast as the others.
Not as active either.
In fact, the bantam Cochin is about the same size as her now.
I’m afraid I may have to cull her because I don’t know how to help her and it may be a chronic problem also. :hit
This is how I usually find her in the brooder...

Yes, in fact we have a full grown EE that my coworker just hatched some eggs from. One is enough though! Doing some meat bird for the first time this summer and I’m suspecting that one of them will go with them....
