I read an article once about the physiology of how roosters crow.
It said they have to fill up their air sacs and stretch their neck out to do it.
That’s how I knew it was a crow because it certainly doesn’t sound like one

He sounds like he’s trying to imitate an eagle

But that stretched neck gives it away because they really don’t do that with any other sounds.
My older roo, Hector, is a bantam Dark Brahma and he also started crowing very young.
I just didn’t remember exactly how old he was.
I wonder if that’s a bantam thing?
It sure helps you know it’s a boy without a doubt.
