Once feathered out I keep my juveniles in the prefab with run for about two to three weeks. Here in the Great PNW winter has finally arrived. I live in a valley surrounded by large mountains and the Columbia River. The wind chills have been frigid. Tomorrow the rain starts (it likely won’t end until May). So for the last few days I’ve been free ranging all day. I moved my Littles in their A frame coop next to the big one to start introductions. I’m going to take introductions really slow this time around. Here’s some pictures from yesterday. View attachment 1610269View attachment 1610270 View attachment 1610271
The big ones get used to seeing them but when I let the juveniles out to mingle they’re still small enough that the bigger ones aren’t threatened by them.
