Chick #1 is starting to figure out his/her legs and is almost fluffed up. Chick #2 pipped moments before I took this photo!

I can’t tell yet whether #1 is black or very dark blue.

We are mid-hatch with some chocolate orpingtons, some black/lavender orpingtons, and a week out on some turkey eggs. We shall see! About half of the eggs were duds, so I really hope we get a good hatch rate now.

First time hatched here. Can anyone tell if this is still alive? This is day 21 rouen/Swedish duck. I know the picture stinks I can try to take a better one. The air cell seems awfully small.

@Magnolia Ducks, I wish I could help, but I don't know anything about duck eggs. Do you see any movement when you candle that one?
