Mister air-bubble-in-the-small-end duckling hatched on friday. He was so cramped in there that I had to assist all the way from internal pipping and out. But he arrived safely into the world, no lasting effect from his up-side-down egg shelter. :wee

I currently am on day 17 for my Muscovy eggs. 10 out of 13 eggs made it past day 10 and were growing when candled. I also have an EE egg that I was given with the Muscovy eggs that is due to go into lockdown on Tuesday night and hatch any time between then and Friday. Can't wait to have a broody hen my hens are all currently just chicks so they need to get bigger first lol. My layers are a week old today and I have 6 more coming in a few weeks from a friend.

So my broody hen broke, so know I am thinking of hatching in my incubator and was wondering if anyone new or buys fertile eggs from some one, I would like to buy some d,uccle fertile eggs but I'm not sure where to get any?

I wish you were closer to Maryland. I have a whole slew of D'uccles eggs ... still inside the hen ... and a really nice rooster, to boot!
