2019 Peafowl

Pics
I got on that just pipped!
So exciting! :D I have 3 India Blue and 3 White hatching eggs in the incubator! I got them from Mr. Peacock from Northern Iowa. :) They all have development so far but I'm only 8 days in. They sadly have some wobbly air cells but I really hope they'll hatch! My Spalding Peacock and Charcoal Peahen have 6 eggs and they are due the 10th of June! (The elderly lady I bought them from last winter told me their breeds so I'm not 100% sure).

I thought that charcoal peahens were sterile; or at least that's what I was told when I was looking into maybe getting some charcoals. Maybe that was wrong though?
That's what I heard too! Maybe she's something else, idk.. The lady seemed pretty informative though. My male has slight white eyes on his eye feathers and she pointed that out to me. He dropped all of his train as soon as she started sitting on the eggs.

I had also heard that someone had a low percent spaulding charcoal peahen - and she was fertile. So, maybe yours is charcoal and is also a low percent spaulding?

Do you happen to have any pictures of her? I'm just curious :)

Thank you I wasn't for sure what she was but I thought black shoulder something. I was told she was charcoal but I didn't really think so.
She can be and probably is a low Spaulding BS split to Charcoal which is capable of laying eggs and is what we like to use to create more Charcoal cocks.
