I don’t think the guy had purple peacocks though. But do you cross them to get purple? Also what do the purple ones look like? The pics on the internet look fake. Lol

Purples are AMAZING. And to answer your question about genetics and purples, since purples are sex linked if you are SURE the breeder had no purples AND no whites out of purples, then a split purple male could still produce some purple hens (and split-purple males).

It is great that you can spend soo much time with your birds, beautiful in all ways.
My PBS is also at his full glory in February and by July is a ruddy brown. I am now ready to just pull all those brown train feathers.
