Really sad news today:
During the last days i had noticed that something was scratching the food-bags open in the storage, so i decided to set up a Racoon-trap. Unfortunately Rural King was out of Racoon-traps (the advertised as well as the standard-priced), so we had to drive further to TSC and came back home late…
When i walked out of the garage i heart the ducks screaming, dropped the trap and ran around the house only to see a big black Racoon running away with one of the Buff-Orpingtons.
Grabbed the shovel and pursued, but did not stand a chance…
Most terrible, i heart that poor little duck screaming in the woods before everything went silent.
Now i feel like an IDIOT because of my predator-joke from yesterday.
For tonight i covered the chicken-wire of the duck-house with tarps to keep the ducks away and hooked up my 10kV neon-transformer. If the 'coon comes back it is in for a deadly surprise.
Also the newly bought trap is set and if it is stupid enough to go for the apple inside it will become the first customer of my newly founded business: »Frank's Fatal Free-Diving School« -Death-penalty for duck-murder!

I'm lazy so I copied this.
Oh I have to tell a story about WannaBeHillbilly, still have to message WannaBeHillbilly but I had to laugh a lot when I just saw it 5 minutes ago that I can't keep it in.
I made this Dutch website about Indian runner ducks, the basics of it, and WannaBehillBilly was so kind to provide pictures. And I made a terrible writing mistake.
On a part how to recognize ducks that are unhealthy WannaBeHillbilly provided a picture of a duck laying on it's back, having troubles to stand up. I haven't asked WannaBeHillbilly why the duck did this; but it was a good picture to show a point that a duck that has trouble to keep standing might be sick and you have to go to the vet with it (this website is for dummies. They only have to know that ducks aren't supposed to lay on their backs and what specifically caused it is too much information at once.)
Under the picture I wrote something. But didn't re-read.
It now says;
'This Indian runner duck has trouble to keep her balance. It is sick. Thanks to WannaBeHillbilly'.
I meant offcourse; Thanks to WannaBeHillbilly to provide the picture :')
