2019 Spring Ducklings are here!

Says video is still processing. My problem was going to the gallon waterer but the quart is not enough for the time I am away from them. You're are so much bigger than mine. I have feed 24/7. But nobody other then the geese are near a half pound.

I switched to the gallon waterer yesterday, the ducklings emptied the quart one in 15 minutes… It was really hard to find a gallon waterer! Neither TSC, nor Rural King had one, they all had the quart chick waterers and then 3+ gallons. Bought mine here at Greens Feeds & Seeds in Charleston, a little family business, inside looks like a junk-shop but they have everything. Glad i found them!
The White Layer ducklings are crazy: They eat, drink and poop the whole day and they grow! I assume they have been bred for this, like the (Jumbo) Pekins. I'm thinking of feeding meat-bird crumbles to them, less protein (16% instead of 22%) to slow them down a bit and prevent leg problems. It would also give the others a chance to catch up.

All, it seems there were some problems on YouTube and the second video wasn't visible over night. When i tried it this morning, i got the message that the video is still being processed. Now it seems to work:

Spot, the duckling with two dark spots, one on her head and another one on her back has a new favorite spot:

I can't wait to see how those two spots turn out on a white duck! Grow spot, grow!

She may molt those spots out. I got o see the video of them outside Miss noname was sue interested in those little ones. She needs a name! Looks like Spot loves to get a birds eye view.

I love it when no name duck starts talking to them. How sweet

I hope they don't disappear! How would I be able to distinguish pure white ducks from each other?
