I would not want it as a surprise of course I only have so much room in my coop. and I may not like the breed somebody wanted to give me. but for me the perfect gift would be these silver laced wyandotte chicks

Chicken catching hook - we have an elevated coop that is only 2 ft from the back of the barn. With this we could potentially catch those wayward chickens that are trying not to be caught and hiding under the coop!

Black oil sunflower seeds! They are a hit, so I just bought 20lbs. My birds will do anything for sunflower seeds. They follow me any time i get close to the feed bin and ask for sunflower seeds. They run across the yard to me if they think I have some! This was the only thing my hen would eat when she was injured.
