We bought this as our very first chickens. We received good healthy chicks that were very vital, quick to ship, and lots of fun. We ordered in October, and got our chicks the same month. We received 3 golden wyandottes, 2 silver laced wyandottes, 3 black australorps, and 3 red sex links. The australorps were by far my favorites.

5 gallon paint bucket from lowes with lid and a couple of PVC corner pipes work for a big cheap feeder....just in case. This is not my picture but I built something like this but the corner pieces keep the food from falling out better than the straight ones.

I would love this coop/run for my ducks. Their current run has its flaws, as I built it myself using a trampoline frame and chicken wire.
