I got 2 of these when I set up chicks I got from Tractor Supply (by themselves with no mama hen to teach them) in their own area (a large bathtub not being used as a bathtub). These also come in handy to place in the smaller movable tractor a few hours, for a recovering chicken, or Roo getting a time out. I plan on getting a few more.

With a flock of now 40 hungry ducks i need to fence in open more space with better protection against predators, so i will have to go with some electric fencing and need a fence-energizer like this one:
