Not yet, i still have to buy/build the new egg fridge…Good, can I ship you some eggs?
If its a drake you can name him »Fred« - like Fred Astaire because you healed his foot and made him dance.Mr club foot,, who do you think you are ( sing with me)
And hissBTW. I read that club-feet tend t0 occur when the incubator was too warm - which would also explain why they hatched early. I don't know, but i assume running the incubator a tiny bit too cold is better than a tiny bit too hot. But the best incubators, imho, have two webbed feet and quack!
Not yet. Only three laying right now. I have about a month before the others start. 9 hens 2 drakes and the 7 new babies. Not yet, i still have to buy/build the new egg fridge…
Do you have so many eggs, that you don't know what to do with them?
The only one that cares about eggs is the drake. No broody ducks hereAnd hiss
I kept 37.5 C the whole time. I dry hatched this round which may be responsible for the early hatch. Also for the 100% hatch. I think adding humidity where I am has been responsible for lower hatch rates. The club foot could be the line breeding. I will consider shoeing him today.BTW.
