I feel like I’m becoming too inactive, I’ve just been so worn out lately.

By the time I’ve got my birds sorted or I’m back from work I’m shattered

Worked hard today to move my brooding shed further along in our garden so that more natural light can get into the window of it. Took a lot of effort but we got there.

Tomorrow I’m going to try and get some photos of our exotic birds. We recently got some Bearded Barbet’s so I’ll see if I can get some of them.

I’m needing ideas on stuff to do to keep me on track.

Good morning!

We have a 40% chance of rain and a wind advisory of 20-30mph with gusts of 45...going to be a lovely day! 🌧🌬 Hold on to your hats...lol

We ended up getting tons of rain and pretty high winds too! Going to have to clean up a lot of trash tomorrow....

So far we haven't gotten to much rain, but the wind has been very steady! I need to go outside & fix a sprinkler in the treeline, but I'm having a hard time getting motivated, I don't like the wind!

Got the duck shed done
I set up a few roosts for the chickens that I’m Moving in their tonight.

they’ll still all be together, the duck shed is close to the chicken coop.
I haven’t set up any nesting boxes because I still want the hens to lay in the coops nesting area.

Oooo that is awesome! It looks so homey too! Love it...

It's definitely hard to balance work and home life, add animals into the mix and it's even harder! I'm glad you were able to get your shed moved...that's no small task! We just moved our rabbit hutch, thank goodness my son is here to help us or it would be much more difficult!

I hear ya! Motivation is not very present here either.

We ended up with tons of rain today. I joke all the time about chickie floatation devices... I'm now thinking I should look into making some we're headed into "T" word season here and I'm just not ready for that.

I was just getting ready to head outside when I heard a notification, with relief, I ran to the computer to see what it was....I really don't want to go out...

I hope that this years season will not be bad! I pray for everyone in the path of one, whenever we hear about it! I really shouldn't complain about the wind so much, it's nothing compared to a "T"!

I almost forgot! My Dad and I made a roost with a poop board yesterday! The trays are tops of ice machines. The idea is that it would be easier to pop them out to deep clean them when they get really nasty. I plan to have a thin layer of sweet pdz so I can scoop the poop easily. Hopefully it works
