Sundae is being a good mommy! It got cold and she hopped right in there and got to turning and warming them. It's been pretty hot and humid till about an hr ago.
It's still raining....and I couldn't figure out why Sundae was only one in stall...

Our "junk" stall is bathing and rainy day sanctuary spot! They're so silly!

I was a little bit concerned about the lils in stall but they look to be doing ok. I shut the doors to just big enough for bigger girls to slip in and out.

Front stall is flooding a bit I might need to find a bale of straw to put down in there. I think that's why everyone is going elsewhere.

Hope Sundae has a good hatch!

Good morning/ evening everyone!
it’s been raining like mad here, I have to get a few more bales of straw today to help cover up all the mud in the chickens run. I nearly have to add straw every 3 or 4 days in this weather .
Hopefully it dries up soon.

Oh wow! Hopefully the rain starts to taper off! Are there chicken floaties? Maybe need to look into those.... Lol!

214 cases of the coronavirus in Ireland now
They’re saying schools and colleges could be closed in Northern Ireland for 16 weeks, I’m probably going to have to do maths and English online now.
the shops have everything back in them now but there’s not many people around.
Our favourite takeaway in town is closed.

We had to go a town over for feed... Found these guys! Blue Jersey Giants!!!! We had two before so excited to have them again!
