They had buff Brahmas at the feed store and I was so tempted to get one cuz they are gorgeous! But I have a light Brahma and I am not crazy about her attitude... she is very sweet with me but she is a bully... also, she is not a great egg layer... hatchery stock I guess.. :idunno

they’re known to be easily tamed but they can be quite mean to each other... quite a sassy girl you’ve got there! I’ve got a few of those too

I’ve got plenty to read if I have to self isolate 😅

this is my favourite book, it covers nearly everything Breeds, incubation, housing etc. 😃

I have to agree with hatchery attitude, the ones I just got are kinda peckish. The buffs I got from breeder are seriously the sweetest things! No not the best layers but they're so pretty and sweet!

I didn't get photos today, but I found where the girls were stashing their eggs! Two dz worth! All covered in yolk. Think I need a camera in there to find out who or what is breaking eggs. Until then we'll be collecting up all eggs again. Sundae never got back on the nest. We try again later.

Ii get to wear this cool sensor patch thing for two weeks and then stress test! So I'm to do everything like normal for now so they can see any issues.

I know a lot of people don't like hearing it but.... I'm praying for everyone that is sick or in high risk areas... It's kinda a scary time we're having, but it's nice to be able to talk with you all and share chickie stories!
