Been a busy bee today! This morning got kids squared away with working on chores and school work :ya
Just got done digging a small wide trench around most of the area we plan to make into chick corralling area. :gig some pics of the area (12ft x 13ft):

We'll be putting that skirting on next and framing out the door.

Large flock sending some attitude towards me for "bothering" them!

I believe this little guy might be a rooster! He was one of the chicks that was being picked at, seems to be doing well and holding his own now! He's always the first to come see me! Hopefully he will always be friendly!

This is my first set of chickens since I moved to Hawaii 3 years ago. They are all mixed breeds I’ve been told and they are pulleys. Fingers crossed. I have 5.I threw in a sunset from a few nights back..

He does look like a roo.
That’s great that he’s standing up for himself now. :)
