Swirl has decided that the nesting box is evil and must be destroyed :thshe likes the floor. Crazy....

From left to right on bar: OE, comet, BR, OE, comet. Bottom: light Brahma, blue Jersey, OE, Australorp, wynadotte.

Ones on top are huge!!! I'm a little worried about the buff OEs and two others in there, kinda poofed up and some I can't tell if feathers were pulled or just growing in. I might move some. :hmm:(

The one on the bin worries me the most. As you can see the Comets have attitude lol! (One with beak in air).

These guys are quickly getting feathers in and looking adorable! The big white is a lake shore egger and has the legbar crest!

Big flock enjoying scratch in the newly mowed lawn. They're not happy we fixed the digging out issues in their stall :gig the BRs still fly over but we're working on that too!
Paninni and Swirl are loving being out of their cage A LOT! Excited to see babies from all these guys next year! Also excited to see who lays what color!
I'm thinking of getting numbered leg bands to keep track of everyone, thoughts?

They are really growing fast! Such a beautiful flock! 💞
I was thinking about leg bands too!

Hello everyone! :frow
Nice and warm outside today, I was busy painting all day and we had a barbecue in the evening.
One of the Lemon Pyle hens has gone broody.
Hope everyone had/has a great day!

It's a very blustery day here today! Not unusual for this time of year! Sounds like you had a productive day! 💞

Went on walk with the dogs this morning.
the sunflowers are starting to grow fast now, I’ll be planting them soon, I might give some sunflower trays away too since there’s no garden centres open.

The broody Lemon Pyle Hen is showing full broody behaviour now, puffing up and clucking when shes out getting her food.
