I purchased this for myself and love it! It's an automatic chicken door. Works with a 12volt battery or can be set up for solar power. Light level set or time set. I asked for these last Christmas. They are great rubber boots. They hold up VERY well. Haven't had any cracking issues and they are truly waterproof. For my TSC link today I have a link to an outdoor dog kennel. We want to make one of these into a large chick brooder during the chick selling season because we hatch so many and I have only 3 smaller brooders right now. I wanted to get this but in the bigger size (10×10) and secure it all over with hardware cloth and metal sheeting to make it chick-proof.

Well, a while back I had 2 roosters for my hens and some of the girls started to lose the feathers on their backs. I have since rehomed the offending rooster, but a few of the girls still needed a little protection for their backs. I bought one of these "hen saddles" from Amazon and some cheaper ones from Etsy. The lighter, cheaper Etsy saddles are kind of useless. But this one from Amazon is working so well, I bought another one. After two weeks, their feathers are already coming back.

is it easy to dump/refill? i’m thinking about getting one for my 5 ducks, but i want the extra large so they have more room and don’t want to waste $55 if it doesn’t work lol

I just let the water out the plug then dump what is left so not as much weight. It had been dumped about 10 x so far and it still is just as strong. the material seams to be thick enough.

My three bantams are currently stuck in fairly small cages in my barn, and id love for them to be able to finally be outside, for as long as the weather is warm enough! Especially since one is getting pretty old, and they would all love the crickets jumping around in my yard
