Instead of replacing your cracked rubber boots you might try shoe goo! I'm always squatting in the garden with my birds and I cracked my new boots right away. I put this glue between the cracks and made a patch on the outside as well. My patches are stronger than my original boots, they've been going for 7 years in the rainy PNW!
