We usually have one of these every year, but it doesn't look like one got made yet this year. So, who's hatching?

I've got tons of Tufted Roman eggs going from my own flock. Also some Lavender and Blue American eggs, AND for the first time I just found another breeder of Tufted Romans, so I'm getting eggs next week. As a bonus, he's been playing with crossing out to French Tufted Toulouse, so he's been working on creating new colors. So the eggs might end up hatching some fun new colors.

What does everyone else have hatching?

Congrats on the new babies and best of luck to those incubating! While I am not hatching anything this year, I am letting my girls sit/hatch since I have local requests for babies.

One of my toulouse girls hatched a 4-pack of babies last week, who are absolutely adorable to watch cruising around the pasture. Sadly for the parents, they are going to their new home this afternoon. But I believe my next broody is set to hatch in a few days, so the fun will begin all over again.

@ColtHandorf Congrats on the new baby! Is that from one of the wonky eggs you posted pics in the other thread? I've been curious for an update.

My Pilgrim hatch is complete. The heralds were three Anconas put in with the Pilgrim eggs. Trinity, Neo, and Morpheus hatched Thursday and Friday. The first Pilgrim pipped Friday and hatched Saturday. The second Pilgrim pipped Friday and hatched today.

Both of the geese are female so I'll probably do another small hatch of Pilgrims. They don't have names yet but I'm reviewing the passenger list of the Mayflower for inspiration. That gives me, believe it or not, options like Rose, Priscilla, Tilley, Oceanus, and Peregrine.

They don't know what breed of goose eggs they brought me. Here's a pic of the parents. Can someone let me know what I'm incubating?View attachment 2636059

Agree they are buff toulouse and grey toulouse. Fun fact: IF buff is gander and grey is goose (and that is how it appears to me), then the babies will be color-sexed, and girls will be buff and males will be grey, carrying the buff gene.

Update,
I still have 8 eggs in the incubator. Been misting and cooling everyday (daughter noticed the incubator was open last night. I told her I was going for a swim and getting a snack. She was so confused 😅) candled a couple days ago, lots of movement, visible veins and air sac is slowly enlarging.
8 days until lock down 🙆
