2022 Chicks - Cackle Experience

It's what the feed store suggested when we got our first batch of chicks and has worked well through this year's chicks from Cackle. We had about 7 with poopy butt this year that cleared up within 4 days of arrival. I was originally taught to use a paper towel with warm water to clean the butts. This year I tried the suggestion of running the poopy butt under warm water and slowly working it out, then using a hair dryer to fluff the chick back up. It worked so much better!! All but two of the chicks only needed a single cleaning, the other two took two rounds.

Is it the same stuff as Sav-A-Chick probiotics that is sold at TSC?
 
Drive out to Cackle to pick up our tiny 4 chick order. Well we have 8 chicks now. Duh. I have been very pleased with Cackle. Great staff and healthy chicks.

Fun! I've heard so much about Barnevelders that now I'm curious but definitely at the limit this year. Such cute little guys, we'd love to see pics!
