*shruggs* Side flush cutters worked fine for me. And I have more then a few pair floating around.

I like the end cutters particularly when dealing with chicks since I feel less confident in my ability to securely restrain the tiny legs without injuring them.

R.Black Easter Egger. With her red-gold forehead I'm thinking she's gonna have gold similar to our current Easter Egger Silvie. She had just a touch of gold and now has it cascading down her neck and back with speckling. Curious how this girl turns out.

R.Purple Easter Egger currently known as Frosty. Another fun pattern I'm excited to see grow out.

Just spoke with Cackle, they are going to get replacements sent out for the missing chicks. Since the BLRW isn't available until the 21st, I've converted it to an extra black laced instead. Keeps them all close enough in age they can be together at just a week and a half apart. As a first time customer of Cackle I am quite happy with this experience so far.

I have a cackle surprise box shipping out march 21st. I am glad to hear that your chicks got to you within the time frame. After hearing about the proposed Mail slow down, I became a little nervous about it. Missouri to Texas shouldn’t be too bad.

Our 7 barred rocks, hatched February 16, had their first trip outside today. they Looked so happy, it was tough to bring them back into the garage (it’s 75 & sunny here today)
