This is the friendliest batch of chicks I've raised.

My sons were moving bags of feed into the coop from the car and had to call me down to distract the chicks at the other door so they could get in without being mobbed!

They jump up on our boots and won't move and crowd around our ankles so thickly that we have to shuffle so as not to step on anyone.
 
Yay! Unless they're all cockerels...

Too many are, and only one good blue Australorp (the green-banded one turned out to be a fast-maturing pullet).

There are two gorgeous Silver-Laced Cochin cross boys, one with partial silver lacing and one with some attractive gold leakage.
