21 week old Rhode- falling over

Cinnamon is falling over to her right side while walking, standing or even sitting- Like a drunken sailor. Started this afternoon- no one else in flock in distress. We have her inside now- had her drink water. No poop yet so I don’t know what that’s like. Almost looks like she has vertigo! She’s alert and vocal.

It could be a mild case of wry neck. It comes on suddenly and the symptoms don't always follow the "star gazing" or twisted neck presentation. I had a rooster recently who was walking backward dragging his beak on the ground.

Give her one whole vitamin E capsule 400iu directly into her beak or break it open and saturate a small piece of bread. For better, quicker absorption, give it with soft boiled egg or a sliver of selenium. This cured my rooster in just hours.

If it's been very hot there where you live, she could have heat stress and the symptoms are very similar. In that case, you would give electrolytes.

If you aren't sure which is causing the symptoms, it won't hurt to treat for both.
