Are your chickens outside at all ? Because if they are you might want to check around I found a nest outside yesterday with 15 eggs in it she is the only one that is laying outside.

I'm at 21 weeks and waiting too! It's driving me nuts! Every day I walk to the coop with my camera just hoping that today is the day! I have 1 EE, 2 BO, 2 BR, 1 Red Star & 1 Production Red. I thought I had a second EE, but then she started crowing!

Can't wait for the first egg to appear!

Also at 21 weeks and waiting... I have four (variety) and all of them are "squatting". And I did realize that even though I know it is a nesting box, doesn't mean that they do - yet! So, since mine roam about the yard, I am looking about the yard - behind the lawnmower, in what is left of the taller plants - I'm sure you know the feeling. Ah, patience. There is a reason it is a virtue!

I'm waiting for Buffy, my Buff Orpington, to lay her first egg! She was 22 weeks when I bought her Aug 26. My contractor is convinced she'll be laying any minute, but nothing yet. I'm guessing the disruption of being in a construction zone (their new chicken run) has delayed her. Still waiting...

I have 4 @ 23 weeks and only the EE is laying for the past week ~ I am still waiting on the BLRW, the frizzle cochin and the Light Brahma mix.

I also have three 20 week old Ameraucanas & 6 Olive Eggers I am waiting on too! I want BLUE eggs!

mine are 22 weeks and one of my 4 EE's finally laid its first green egg still whating for the other 3 and one it's comb is still pale she may take awhile yet

One of my chickens finally laid an egg!!!! 22 weeks and 2 days! We arent sure which one, we just know it wasn't one of the EE's. That leaves the SLW's and the BR's. Still haven't seen any squatting, but we got an egg!!!! Its so little and cute!!!
