That makes more sense. I couldn't figure out how BEI could make any other breed duckling look little!

When I've had just one hatch, I kept it on my when I could. Next to your skin they will fall asleep. I've carried many in my bra and slept with them under my shirt.

Not exactly in my shirt, but it worked!

I don't know how I missed this. I wasn't worried about crushing it. I'm a light sleeper. I've co slept when my kids were babies. I've slept with newborn puppies, piglets, chicks, poults, ducklings, quail. Never crushed anything. They sleep better with living things next to them and I sleep better because they aren't up all night whining. ;-)

Thank you to everyone who pushed me to help this little guy out. Everything I read kept saying "remember, ducks are slow" so I almost didn't.
Wish I'd stepped in sooner for the other two eggs that my gut was telling me needed help.
