always welcome. I think people get too obsessed withe their own personal agendas and fears to see the beauty in the world. Thanks Kristy. I needed to see something good amoung the sorrows of the world.![]()
That last picture reminds me so much of Lily. I think Em's got the picture, I'll see if she'll post it later.
Oh, Kristy, you made an old man cry. The parents who tattooed insulin pumps on their bellies, 2 young boys standing up against the haters, the man holding his old arthritic dog in the water (saw that one before and shared the article with the Princess - we both cried). Thanks for sharing all of this GOODNESS at a time when I m feeling a deep and morbid sadness over the tragic loss of life in Newtown.
I've been accused of being nieve, but I have a lot of faith in humanity. Honestly, I feel that people strive to do more good than harm, and so many wonderful things people do every day, from tiny thoughtful things like taking the smaller half so ones friend can get the bigger piece to larger things like sending packages to injured soldiers go unnoticed. This is so great.
I love it when random people just go out of their way to do something nice for a complete stranger. A few years ago we were at Walmart buying groceries, and almost totally broke at that point. My mom didn't have enough cash to pay for everything, and the man behind us offered to pay for everything, almost $200 worth of groceries. We never knew his name, or saw him again, but we'll never forget him.
People can be awesome sometimes.![]()
Thank you for sharing this. At this difficult time, with all the sadness, it's good to know there is still good in this world. It's good to be reminded that there's still love, compassion and a desire to make a difference. We should all try and do something good every day, just a little random act of kindness. Smile at a stranger, write a little note or give someone a helping hand when they need it. Make the world a better place.I've been accused of being nieve, but I have a lot of faith in humanity.
