And no, I'm not wiping my eyes and sniffling. Really.

That last picture reminds me so much of Lily. I think Em's got the picture, I'll see if she'll post it later.
always welcome. I think people get too obsessed withe their own personal agendas and fears to see the beauty in the world.

Oh, Kristy, you made an old man cry. The parents who tattooed insulin pumps on their bellies, 2 young boys standing up against the haters, the man holding his old arthritic dog in the water (saw that one before and shared the article with the Princess - we both cried). Thanks for sharing all of this GOODNESS at a time when I m feeling a deep and morbid sadness over the tragic loss of life in Newtown.

I cried when I saw this as well.

This is so great. :)

I love it when random people just go out of their way to do something nice for a complete stranger. A few years ago we were at Walmart buying groceries, and almost totally broke at that point. My mom didn't have enough cash to pay for everything, and the man behind us offered to pay for everything, almost $200 worth of groceries. We never knew his name, or saw him again, but we'll never forget him.

People can be awesome sometimes. :)

I've been accused of being nieve, but I have a lot of faith in humanity. Honestly, I feel that people strive to do more good than harm, and so many wonderful things people do every day, from tiny thoughtful things like taking the smaller half so ones friend can get the bigger piece to larger things like sending packages to injured soldiers go unnoticed.

Thank you for sharing this. At this difficult time, with all the sadness, it's good to know there is still good in this world. It's good to be reminded that there's still love, compassion and a desire to make a difference. We should all try and do something good every day, just a little random act of kindness. Smile at a stranger, write a little note or give someone a helping hand when they need it. Make the world a better place.

I can't remember who wrote this, anyone know? "The best part of a good man's life... his small, unremembered acts of kindness and love"

did you see Evan almighty and what ARK means one ACT of RADOM KINDNESS,

I have did in my life to help others I sat wioth a dog that was not mine that had been hit twice as far as I knew I sat holding the dog it was a pitbull the best thing for this dog was to dispatch it the top of the head was mushy and it had basic funtions, the owner came but she didn't say it was her's I had to pick the dog up and it made a noise like it hurt I said I am sorry can you forgive me and it licked me I think the dog understood me and it forgave me with the lick it did not lick me any other time I later found out that this lady was the dogs owner I was fumming she didn't take responsibiility for her animal she did how ever call the pound I had the dog in my arms telling it was a good dog I don't care what this dog was and it was a good dog in my eyes.

I helped a lady that was driving a car that is hand a... she uses here hand to drive the car, she called me over to help her sahe handed me $80. to go in and get the key for her and see that the room is ready I did I also helped her into her wheel chair and opened the door for her to the hotel room it was on the first floor. I could of ran off with the cash she didn't know me but I am honet she wanted to give me money but I declined I wanted to help if I didn't I wouldn't of started doing for her.

There is no reason you can't open a door or help someone find something they are looking for in the store it doesn't have to be a big deal
