I just brought home 26 hatchlings! I am over the moon happy. I paid a lady to incubate them and she rocked it out of the park.

My rooster is a paint ameraucana EE with autosomal red + lavender split. Hens are BYC unless listed below.

11 of the chicks are paints - 6 are black spotted, the other 5 are blondeish/almost no spots/look to be lavender possibly.

There are 6 legbar chicks w/ even ratio of what i suspect are hens/cockerels. Half are black and half have a very dark chipmunk stripe.

3 ayam cemani chicks hatched - 2 of them look just like their ma, 1 looks like a black lav split + fibro

4 BCM chicks - all fat and bearded, but half of them hatched with a splay leg.

I'm not sure what the other two are but i'm assuming they look like ee basic blacks.

I didn't get any solid lavenders which surprised me since half of the incubator was lavender splits. Maybe some of the paints will grow into lavender patterned or something? I thought it was obvious which ones were lavender at hatch. Maybe I didn't get any lavenders at all?

chick 1 - minimal spots that look grey/silver vs black

They are so adorable! :love

I breed silkies but not lavenders, so don't know what's up with those. Granted, yours are a different breed, so they may not work the same as it does with silkies, but @Slothinc maybe can shed some light on it.
