I hear ya. I really like this little one. I just like my neighbors and living in peace amongst them too lol. The crowing of many would not be a pleasant conversation piece at the neighborhood get togethers....

That houdan is pretty!! Chickens amaze me, seriously there are so many different kinds!!

Still pondering on the crele polish... I don't want to count my chicks before they're hatched, lol... since they're due middle of next week and hopefully will hatch and be ready in time for chickenstock...

Thanks! I like them a lot, very sweet temperament. Getting another Houdan pullet from a friend tonight to make up for the oops boy. These two were named 'Dunder" and "Mifflin" ---Mifflin is the boy....I think I should name my new pullet Mifflin now, and call the roo "Dwight " lol

Well i offically wont be bringing any chicks to sell now... my dog broke in to the run this smorning and killed off every single baby i had.. i just woke up from working last night and found them all scattered around the yard D: what makes me mad is he knows better cause he doesnt bother the adults what so ever.. still coming but will only show and sell roaches

thanks everyone.. i know i will be looking for a Cochin pullet for sure cause he killed my new cochin i was planning on keeping out of all the babies.. and i think i signed up for the class but never got a responce back i know i'm interested in it
