2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Chickenstock May 4, 2013

HI Everyone. I am kinda late to the party, but I just wanted to let everyone that is coming to our adventure next weekend know that I have started
BBS Orpingtons chicks that are just about 2 months old, as well as new Orp chicks that are just a week old that I will be bringing for sale. There are also a few Lavenders in the mix. Can't wait to see you all there!

Black, Blue, and a Splash Oprington Chicks, just 3 days old.

Ohhhh... BBS orps!! You should have plenty of interested people to buy those!! What kinds of Marans do you have?

Daloorashens, I sure hope so. They are such fun ladies, big poofy rears and so gentle. The only marans I have right now are a few copper pullets, I sure love getting the super dark eggs.

How much for your Orps?

Texas Roadhouse will be our food concessionaire this year!!

I have 300+ chicks in my garage.. I think there are two more shipments coming tomorrow..

3 more days till Chickenstock!!!

Just a reminder.. If you are bringing chicks to sell that need a heat lamp... bring an extension cord so you will have power for your lamp...

I will be asking $5.00 for the week olds BBS and a few Lav. Orps.
I would like $7.00 for the started pullets, BBS Orps. and I think I will bring around 20ish.
If anyone would like a BBS roo let me know as I wasn't going to bring very many. Even though they are really starting to feather up and are looking very handsome. They are only $5.00 and you can pick your favorite color. I have only one started Lavender roo and one pullet left that I can bring.

FYI, I started raising Orpingtons about 4 years ago because I just love the big, classy ladies. I try to stick to the English style as that is the look I really like. This year I am really focusing on the splash variety, so I will be bringing as many as I have. I started with eggs from some of the top Orpington breeders in the states, like Korfus Kluckers, and Hink HC. If you are looking for something to put some color and class into your back yard you should really consider Orpingtons! Thanks, and see you soon.
