change of plans!!! i probly will be attending this year and i will be bringing a big assortment of babies for sale.. i will even have Silver Lace Polish's and i think one is going to be a rooster too go figure hahah.. also probly will have 1 adult hen i may sell my Silver lace Wyondotte,
Will also have Buff Coachens, may have 2 Willsummers and some blue Andalusians not sure exactly what else, but i'll have an asortment that is for sure.. maybe may bring up the 3 pair of Crevecoeur's i have if i decide i dont want to keep them.. all babies of course..

I have a nice looking Blue Maran Rooster available (sent with Barnevelder eggs but he is the only one hatched) I could bring and some Barnevelder roosters & hens (poss some blues), and Americana hens and roosters. All these were hatched out last Spring. We are hoping for some. Blue/Lavender Americana chicks and some blue/ black Barnevelder chicks (if they start laying again after separating them and the snow we got). Looking for mature Mille Fluer rooster and Black Tail Japanese hens.

How old is he and is he a nice boy? (Not a leg/foot attacking monster?)

He is a year old. He was aggressive once with my 14 yr old and got kicked for his effort and hasn't tried it again. He is nice looking and I would keep him but we don't have any other Marans and my wife wants me to cut down on the Barnevelders and Americanas.

I might be interested. Are you going to chickenstock? Are his crowing habits obnoxious/mellow or middle of the road?

Yes, we will be there. I am about 18-20 miles north of the facility. As far as crowing, I couldn't tell you since he is one of about 15 roosters we have

Last question...what was the darkness of the egg he hatched from? Would he be good for use in breeding for darkness in egg color?
