Today is day 21 I woke up to 1 blue giant out and about 8 pips and a zipper hope it keeps going good I will keep my fingers crossed!!!

well just got home from work and have about 11 baby chicks 5 or 6 more pips Temp and humidity perfect Wow I love my New Dickey Bator!!!

When hatching Marans, what is the best humidity level to run?
I put some Maran eggs on today and I want to make sure
that I do my part. Please give advice.

I use a version of the dry incubating method. Start out near 65% let it dry down to 35%, and reload H2O to get it back up to 65%. Works great for me, and you being Louisiana, should have sucess with that method.

Day 20 I have a pip. And everything seems to be okay this time humidity is at 67% and temp at 100. And I will not open no matter what this time.

$40.00 eggs and I'm done to 8. Hows everyone elses going?
