Okay, so I incubated some eggs last spring but only one eggs hatched out of 12 and the little chick ended up dying...After that I decided to order live chicks so I've forgotten all about what you need to know to incubate. Now my chicks are laying eggs and I'd like to hatch some of their eggs! I am going to buy the Genesis 1588 incubator with and auto turner. My last incubator wasn't very good and was always going up and down in temperature and humidity.
So I know that since the Genesis 1588 is a circulated incubator the temp should be around 99.5 degrees. I've been trying to find out what humidity it should be, but I've read all kinds of different stuff so if someone that has this incubator could clear that up for me that would be great!
Also, does anyone know where I can get the Genesis 1588 incubator and an auto turner sorta cheap? Cutlersupply.com was the cheapest place I could find but it's still $175 with shipping and all.
Any other advice would be great!
